JAMMED12 Disc CD Changer!!! NEEDS HELP!!
Just bought a SC300, and i noticed theirs a 12 CD changer in the trunk....but then i noticed it was jammed . Ive tried forcing it out but no luck. Does anyone have any ideas or advice on how to fix this?(I can't stand the radio)

Ours was jamming too, the CDs would get stuck when trying to slide in/out of their little tray. I opened the changers lid(press the little button so it thinks the lid is closed) and then you can see if a CD is stuck. If there is a CD stuck use something thin to stick down there and push CD back into its tray.
It kept happening and I read you can adjust the height of the CD tray but I haven't got around to it yet.

There is a thread on adjusting the height of the Cd caddy to keep the discs from sticking, I've seen it here but I didn't bookmark it. I'm sure you can search and find it.
I would rather try to fix the issue rather than replacing it with an equally old part that may develop the same problem the next day.

No theres no error code shwoing up. I think i might have blown a fuse or the entire circuit, because yesterday i bought a cassette adapter for iphones and it worked great for about 2 songs then it just shut everything off. I have no radio nor cassette player now.
any ideas of what could be wrong?

MooseJaw, I get the "Error" code on mine. Aliga sent me a replacement I just haven't had the time to swap them.
I still would love to try to figure out what the deal is with the player getting stuck.

DWOU, are you sure that you are not just confused about how long it takes for the CD magazine to eject?
When you close the top door shut press the eject button. It will start to blink and take some time till it the light just stops flashing. At that point the CD magazine has risen to the top of the player and may be removed. It's a OLD player....it does not move as fast as the 2011 technology. Give it some time. Unless you are getting an error code like mine was more then likely there isn't a problem with the player.
