i will pay your flight to NY to come and do this for me.. lol

I will TRY and attempt this very soon as my interior is gray and not a fan of it very much. Although considered a two tone with the gray and black.

Thanks for the compliments. I have done this maybe 3 or 4 times. Finally I am satisfied with the end results. My paypal is marklinley36@gmail.com for the flight to New York.

It was well worth the car being down the whole time. I painted a few pieces here and there but made sure I had the same batch of SEM paint. Their codes are on the bottom of the can.

I have already done the two tone gray and black, but then it just didnt finish the look for some reason. I got that idea from scotturknot. His interior looked amazing the last time I saw it. I dont have the money to just spend 3-4 on all new black OEM pieces or new leather.

I did spray the leather seats with SEM. This stuff is the bomb. If you prep and sand correctly. I also used their adhesive promoter. I sanded the leather with 800 grit sandpaper just like the rest of the pieces. I sanded it ALL!

The woodgrain come out fantastic. It turned out better than I thought it would. Once I got it back from cleared, I sanded them down, and buffed them out to finish and get the smooth look.

Overall the paint dries to touch in about 3 minutes in 70-80 degree weather. I didnt sit in the seats for about a week, to assure they cured and sealed properly. If i had to do it over again, I WOULD!

I'd recommend a few finishing touches:

Black newer lexus 3 spoke wheel, probably not woodgrain but if you do get woodgrain see if you could get the same finish on the wheel.

Gated shifter, again the same finish as the wood and also do that same finish on the shifter surround, radio surround, and HVAC surround. Would pull everything together nicely

LED lighting all around the interior.

I actually thought about doing the trim around the radio pieces but decided against it. I just thought the woodgrain was sufficient. I also looked into the purchase for a three spoke but I just don't like them. I guess you could say I'm old school.

The interior lighting is ALL led. To include the selector lights, dash, volume/temp ****, odo/ time, trac, heated seats, and the doors. They all blue to match my needles from Lextech and my radio.

I didn't remove my dash. I masked everything off with plastic and commenced to painting it. Will post pictures of how I did it tomorrow. I also shoved cardboard into the cracks in between the dash and the windshield. That was the only piece I didn't remove.

You painted that??? Very noice, it looks stock. I cant believe you can paint the seats and not end up with chunks and flakes on your back over time.... kudos if it holds up man!
