Default head gasket repair

has anybody ever used head gasket sealer and does it work

I've used it a few times on other types of cars and it HAS worked. One of the things you need to take into consideration though, is if the head is warped or how bad the damage is. If there is minimal damage then the sealer can work.

I still wouldnt consider this a 'fix' but more of a band-aid for the issue. It's not very expensive so I'd say its probably worth a shot for short term purposes.

Build thread time. Oh and the SC300 is a inline 6.

if i can change my hg you can change yours, but like what was said earlier you might need machining, but measuring tool are worth the purchase.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from "sealers". They will TRASH your cooling system by gumming it up. Getting all that mess out of your heater core and radiator is impossible even if you were to replace the engine down the line.

that was my thougt 2 after all its an sc gotta do it right sure wish mine looked like some of u guys allthough its not 2 shabby
