First-time Lexus owner! 1995 SC400
UPDATED ON PAGE 4
Hey guys! First-timer here! Me and my wife just bought a SC400 that haven't been used since 2009 about a month ago.. I found it on craigslist San Diego, its already on rims and low profile tires when we bought and we've never been happier.. It's actually an everyday car/project car until me and my wife can afford a used GX for the whole family to use.. We bought the car $3600, and so far we've spent:
$700 for registration since '09 and penalties with transfer of ownership, new pink slip(since the old owner lost it) and new plates
$200 for LED conversion of gauge lights("cause alot of the gauge lights weren't working anymore when we got it so I decided to upgrade it)
$100 for detailing kitsss('cause there were alot of swirls and scratches when I got it since wasn't used since '09 and I did my very first car detailing with it)
$200 for wheel bearing
change oil and tune up(normal)
$300 for new tires since it's out of camber and had worn down tires in the rear
I'm gonna be doing alot more this coming week; a few examples are the
upgrade to a DVD LCD 2din headunit
HID's (for both head and foglights) I've always had HID's for headlight and foglight even back in my home country Philippines and I kinda miss it.. alot..
And also I see alot of people here using DDM Tuning HID kits, is it any good? 'Cause on yelp their ratings is super low, alot of customers are complaining about there customer service such as warranty coverage nd attitude of people working there?
I'd really like to post some pics but I don't know how to do it yet, so please bear with me...LOL
So that's how it looks like when we first got it..

I was just about to post this...
I bought everything at superbrightleds.com
The only downfall I had with these was that the LED's had polarities, so it pretty much took me the whole day going back and forth to my car testing and retesting and figuring out the polarities of the light, that's why if you would notice its morning when I began the pics and night when I got done with it.. LOL
But all in all its pretty good.. I used they're T1.5 LED bulbs btw

Thanks you guys! I'm still trying to find out if the DDM tuning HID kits are any good, their seems to be a lot of problems with it, and I'm getting ready to buy some for my headlight and foglight by tomorrow cause there office is pretty near. So need some input. Thank you guys again!
