Default AeroTurbine Mufflers on a SC400

So I've been looking around getting some ideas on a custom exhaust when I came across the AeroTurbine (www.aeroexhaust.com) universal mufflers. What i was wondering was if anyone here on CL had these mufflers with their setup. I've searched high and low on CL, google, & youtube etc but had no luck. The closest I got was a 2000 Toyota Tundra 4.7L but that was pretty much it. I know a lot of Supra guys run these mufflers as some vendors have adapted the muffler for their custom kits but of course a 2JZGE & 2JZGTE have a different sound than the 1UZ.

If anyone has any sounds clips I would like to hear them. I know they're first tests of the muffler were made on a 92 SC400 but no sound clips.

I have one on my V6 Camry and it sounds great. I almost bought some for my SC but I chose to go with a bolt on Top Speed Pro-1 axle back. Maybe in the future I'll pick up some Aero Turbines.

I've been debating on a few exhaust options so far one of them being the Top Speed axle back that I've seen on Ebay. I've also been looking into the Blitz Nur Spec & HKS HiPower universals but the Aero caught my attention with the deep sound they provide.

I'll be going with new 2.5in piping from the headers back with a Magnaflow X-pipe turning it into a true dual exhaust but I may bite the bullet and go with the Aero Turbines... worst case scenario I'm out of $250 bucks and just get something else

I'm just surprised I haven't been able to find any clips from a SC400

Save some $ and get them off eBay. They go for $111 with free shipping.

if you do post a sound clip... I've been working on my saleen lately so I need to wait for a few weeks before I can get my exhaust set up on the SC...

I was able to find a pic of the SC400 with the AT2540i mufflers which are the exact ones I want to get.

My buddy had a single 3 inch exhaust with one on his old SC300. Sounded really good and loud too.

Nope... I've looked all over and cannot find one. I've only been able to find them on 2jzge and 2jzgte motors but not on the 1uz. They sound great on the supra's and sc300's but its not known how they sound on the sc400.

Forgot you had a V8. I loved my magnaflow 14829's on my 1uz. Sounded so deep and smooth. I would definitely check them out and they are not that expensive. Of course with that x pipe and bigger piping from the header back to the muffler that should make it louder than mine (2.25in piping from cat back).
