To actually finish my build. I have a garage full of new parts and just need to find the time to install them. One thing to check off the list is my interior, I just dropped of my spare interior to have it all redone with suede added for a little extra flava! As soon as its done i'll post some pics for a little feedback.

full exhaust (loved the nurspec on my s13, so the same for my 400), $1k
swap a lower mileage 1uzfe in for peace of mind, $1k
swap the sc400 to a w58 manual, $2k-ish
front corbeau reclining seats, $600
reupholster rear seats tan, $150
kazz 2way lsd, $1k
cf hood and trunk, $1k
95 front fogs

i loled pretty hard at this one cause its the truth
my goal is to make it the car that i believe i was when it was released applied to todays standards...not sure if that makes sense
i feel like when it was released it was a vehicle that stood out from the rest based off of the advanced styling, the above average performance, and luxury of its time. unfortunately its pretty lacking to todays standards on performance and style, especially considering how often you see them just completely ragged out. thankfully slightly modified (just wheels, a drop, and nice paint) can work wonders on these vehicles and turn them into head turners since is rare to see a clean one. when people ask what year mine is and i tell them its 19 years old they cant believe it. they usually say they thought it was an early 2000s model. also performance is an easily addressed issue with these cars considering the ease or turbocharging and available engine swaps. in the end i want my car to just be clean and sit at around 450whp, and bring its lost character back to life.

The scope for my ride is very specific mainly to enjoy driving around and not worrying about body damage from the track or other cars around it...
current mods I'll let in on
50mm bov
3inch piping with 4 row intercooler
2jzgte full aristo swap with working a/c and heater
Poly-urethane bushings
255 walbro
exhaust cutout
2 Sparco Milano 2 seats for the support and comfort
Old school hks filter with custom 3 inch intake
Trd Upper strut tower brace "aka the green monster"
50 amp alternator
Apexi Turbo Timer
There is more but I'm just not gonna tell....

when i got my car, i was just looking to upgrade from my maxima, but i wanted something reliable, and semi easy to work on. so far the only thing hate with my car is the gas mileage is not as good as my maxima was. but eventually i would like to do 97+ front/rear/sides, 5spd swap, lower gear ratio to help with fuel economy, and go single to get 350-400whp.

For now its just making it look nice
this summer
-take out the dent
-repaint
-tan/black interior new steering wheel
-suspension work coils rims and such
-BFI, exhaust and stuff with maintenance work
next year
swap the tranny and turbo the 1uz for around 500-600 daily.

Seeing as how my SC300 has to function as a reliable mode of transportation to and from school, it's purpose is simply to last. However, as money comes my way from various jobs and occasions, the goal is to increase power and get a new paint job, since the rear bumper, door, and majority of the car are a shade or two different from one another for a reason that the previous owner did not know and that Carfax does not know. Also want it to keep that luxurious, sleek style, because it helped me to fall in love with it.
