My front rims are 18x10+13 with a 235/40 nankang which has no noticeable stretch since these tires seem to run on the wider side. I have a proper alignment where the front has been set to 1.2*-1.4* of negative camber, and has about a finger gap, and my rim is flush with the fender. Only fender mods is that they were rolled flat.
And by doing some simple calculations from the hub(rim mounting point) to the outer flange of the rim. Let's just call this the "front spacing" since it the exact opposite of what backspacing is,
Anyway, going by this "front spacing" measurement my rim sticks out 127mm (about 5") from the hub to the outer flange, where as your rim sits 103mm(about 4") from hub to the outer flange. So essentially my front rims stick out 1" more than your rims do, so logically you should be able to fit those rims with a 235/40 no problem or maybe even a 245/40 if you run the -1* of camber.
My "fitment" may not be what you're looking for, but the proof is in the numbers as to where your wheel should be sitting with tires on it.
