LOL, actually I did that same exact search beforehand and came up with same place but that was the ONLY place and therefore I thought that was weird...and that there had to be more than this one place, guess not.

Are you talking about amber or yellow? I didn't see any yellow lights on that site only amber. If you want amber just go to your local auto store I know Pep Boys carries them.

i checked out that site and came upon some japanese "no fade" bulbs. what are those? they don't fade?

Cheap colored bulbs are painted regular ones.

The color burns off and 'fades' after about a week

Real colored bulbs use colored glass in the manfacturing process.
