Default Replacing the thermostat

Wassup guys,
very simple question here. My mechanic says my Thermostat when out & needs to be replace. So I was looking to purchase a replacement and notice they had different brand thermostat for the SC400. The brands I saw for my SC400 were GATES, STANT, and BECK/ARNLEY. So I want to make sure I purchase one that is the most durable. Are there any of these you all would recommend most or do they all pretty much operate the same & have the same lifespan ??

Why don't you just go buy one from lexus? They aren't THAT expensive, I paid 20 bucks at my dealership.

I say go OEM as well. For such a cheap part that could potentially screw a lot of things up, why not buy the insurance? Not only do you have to worry about POS t-stats but a lot of aftermarket ones are not the proper temperature.

Spend the extra 10 bucks and buy a part you know will work.

Yo "scviolence" thanks for the gasket reminder, almost forgot that lol. But just wanted to double check with you all, the experts! Thanks once again everyone! I love CL!!
