Default Very good headlight restoration kit

ok so i was bored, and frankly couldnt see that well from my headlights at night. i tried a few of these before and the lights usually go back to the way it was after a little bit. furthermore, this kit has a clear coating step that most doesnt have to help keep the lights shiny, and it saves from buying new ones...

got this from advance auto parts, paid like $24, had all the stuff and instructions, cant mess up

this is what i started with

this is the finished product after some elbow greese was applied

I have a write up on cv headlamp restore, it's been a good month now still super clean. It comes with a sealant protecting the lamps from fogging again

Only way to get permanent fix for the yellowing SC headlights is to sand them down 800>1000>1500, do a degreaser wipedown, and apply a UV protectant clearcoat (a few coats). Your lights will look brand new and will be perfectly clear (no yellowing whatsoever) for at least several years if you do it right. If this kit is really a good coating it will last years.

The buff and shine approach is nice for a quick temporary fix, but be prepared to do it on a monthly basis because if your lights are all yellow, it only means the factory UV coating is completely gone from the plastic.

just applied with a weaved cloth provided in the kit. just go in the same direction side to side, and not in circular motion
