Question I seem to be leaking water...plain water

Ive noticed this since I got my SC....
When I run the A/C....after I park the car, a decent amount of water will gather in a puddle under the front of the car (where the dash would probably be).
When I dont run the A/C, it doesnt leak.
Its just plain water....I tasted it and the color is consistent with that.
What could this be? Could it be a condensation? If so, is that normal on SC's and is there anyway to totally solve the problem?

Default No solution

That's not a problem, it's a FEATURE.

Truely, that eactly how you want it to work.

You tasted it? Hehe its only water, but you sure have guts!

Its just normal condensation and "extract" from the a/c unit. Its just like and wall/window mounted unit. If you watch them, they drip water that has been captured from the air.

Nothing to worry about! Totally normal.

LOL!!! I guess I get carried away from watching all the cop shows where the guys taste to make sure its cocaine and not powder.
I didnt taste...I tested with tongue for acidity lol.
Anyways...none of my other cars had ever leaked like that with A/C on, bizzy there is nothing I can do to stop this? Its a little embarassing when you have stuff leaking from your Lex lol...

Yeah, just be careful what you taste

In my family, we've owned around 5 Toyota's and all 5 leaked with the a/c turned on. I don't find it embarassing because its i've been exposed to it all my life, I don't see anything wrong with it. But I know what you mean! I guess the only thing you can do is get used to it, because you don't want to prevent it from leaking or else who knows what will happen to your sc' a/c unit.

make a makeshift 'cup' and tape it to the bottom of your car to catch the a/c water
then you can drink as much of it as you want

Default moldy

If you don't get a puddle your drain may be plugged and that will lead to mildew and stinky "bad breath" from the evaporator - -

Reminds me of the time many years ago when I thought that the brakes on my Father's car were leaking since the rear tire had fluid on the side. I smelled it, felt it, but luckily didn't taste it since it turns out that the dog had pee'd on it.
Only problem with condensation from the AC that I know of is that as the car ages, some corrosion sets in and this can lead to some nasty brown stains on your driveway.

LOL stock300, reminds me of the old story...

Moe & Curly see somethin' on the sidewalk - Curly says, "Looks like **** - feels like **** - smells like it too - yup, tastes like it - careful, Moe, don't step in it!"
