I was wondering if I would be able to replace my wood trim w/ black trim. I'm not a very big fan of the wood, it doesn't look contemporary enough for me. I've never seen any pics of an SC w/ the black interior, but then again the black probably has wood trim too
. So overall, I want to know if there's a relatively simple & cost effective method of converting the wood to black.
Thanks,
-Johnny

Pull the trim off... prep the parts so they are clean

Apply SEM Black vinyl coating.
Gives a stock look but be warned that black will show all the imperfections in the trim. Have you considered carbon-fiber or metal.

Thanks alot pcmw, I just may try using that vinyl paint. As for metal, I personally don't think that it goes well w/ the SC interior. Plus I have the tan interior, so I kinda need to keep things simple or else it will look out of place. I think carbon-fiber is cool, but I think I'd prefer to have black. Thanks again man!

No Problem.
I would suggest testing a piece of plastic with that stuff first then hold it up to the acvents or dash plastic around the odometer and see if you like it.
Then prep those wood pieces till perfect. Maybe use some 400grit paper or higher and get them really nice. Paint always exaggerates imperfections.
