Default A good buy or not?SC300

Hi everyone.I'm looking at purchasing a 1999 SC300 with 20,000 miles. It has full history and all but the timing belt hasn't been changed. Is this an issue I should be worried about being its more than 10 years old even though it has less than 90,000 miles? The car is in mint condition. The guys want 13,000 for the car is this a good deal? Thanks for the help.

Hell yeah that's a good deal. I mean it's not like you have much choice anyway.... very few SCs left with that kind of miles. Timing belt isn't that expensive at all to have changed at the dealership. A few hundred bucks. I would jump on it.

I'd jump on it. Not everybody wants to buy an "already" modified car.... not everybody wants a cheap beater that requires thousands of dollars of restoration both mechanical and cosmetic (and even when restored, it's still not as good or true as the original car). For what it's worth, I think 13k is a small price to pay for a truly rare car with that ridiculously low amount of miles.

mixmasterm, price (Excellent $13,190) by KBB standards, see if the seller will reimburse the cost of timing belt/water pump in the final price. Caution you may like the Sc more than your wife.
