I swapped a 97 front bumper and grill onto my '93 a few weeks ago. The rest of the car is stock '93. I haven't taken any pictures but I can dash a couple off to show you. I had already bought sideskirts a while back but once the bumper was on I decided against them.
It depends on what you like. A '92-'96 SC300/400 with just a '97 front end, TT wheels or aftermarket wheels and no other '97 bodykit pieces looks a lot more like the "rake" of a traditional muscle car: level/high rear, straight line sides and an aggressive front end. I prefer this look and I've never understood why the profiles of many cars from the 80's, 90's, 00's and even today have to be perfectly level from nose to tail.
It's clean, looks like it could have been OEM and very plainly but assertively suggests an athletic muscle coupe.
Also, I think it helps to have a subtle approach to your muffler(s) with this look. The flat paint of the stockers and high mounted tips help stay with the theme. Whenever I change to an aftermarket setup I plan to powdercoat the muffers in exactly the same way to avoid drawing eyes downward and away from the lines of the car.
