Default Are our cars easy to break in?

So here's the situation. My car was parked at work. These two guys with an scxxx on 24 pulls up in our parking lot. They drove pass my car, went back around the lot and came back to my car. Stopped looked at it, started to drive off, stopped, reversed, stopped and looked at it again. I didn't see any of this, my cousin was coming back from his lunch when all of this was happening. He also said that their scxxx had a pretty beat up fender, so maybe they were looking for parts??? Well I went out and bought an autolock. Am I just over thinking it? Maybe they were just admiring it? Who knows. I just want to know if our sc's are hard to steal or just another honda. Thanks

If they want in bad enough they will find a way. But typically are cars are not that easy to break into when compared to other products out there.

The easiest way in is through a window...so pretty much every car out there is screwed. If you're that paranoid, get a 2 way pager alarm so you can know if someone is messing with your car.

+1 on the 2 way pager alarm.

Add a bat, machete, or a gun to educate some. The best deterrent for car theft is being caught by the owner.

Easy to steal? Yes. But they won't be driving it away when they steal it.

It's pretty easy to break into. If you knock out the window, it's pretty easy.

I recommend an alarm with a two-way pager and a tilt sensor.

I know my 98+ has a key chip inside, so i think the car won't start without the chip.

put this sticker on your window...

it'll make anyone think twice about coming near your car.

The best thing you can do is put in a switch in the hot wire going into the ignition switch. Put it in an out of sight spot and wire it so that even if they bust the column open they can't get to a powered wire and you should be good. You might get your window busted and your dash pried open but they won't get your car unless they brought a rollback.
