ehh i think its overpriced but then im in texas cars are cheap here. i payed 2200 for my 1996 sc300 with 180k on it and it had new leather and and wheels on it. but i had to do the timing belt/water pump/harmonic balancer/ cost 1400 so 3600 really. he does not mention doing the harmonic balancer. that means he skipped it because it is pricey. you will need to do that which means tearing it down again and paying close to a grand. not worth it imho keep searching leave him hanging and if you dont find a better deal come back offering 3700 which is the bluebook value. good luck bro.

that kelly blue book is off. gotta be mine is a 96 and i payed taxes on 3700 at the dmv when i registered. it aint worth 5k dude. in texas he would be lucky to get 2500

try the edmunds true market value..... lol its usually a grand less then kelly. kelly is designed for car dealers and does not reflect what cars are really going for on the open market especially in this market. i say wait for lower mileage if you that kinda dough.

im in CA unfortunately. haha find me a clean SC and I'll pay you to get it shipped. that almost seems cheaper than getting one here at least.

That's because you bought a Sc300 and this one is an Sc400, big difference in price.

ok wow, maybe this is a good option.

I'm willing to spend up to $6k, but obviously want a deal.

Prefer 97/98+
Model: 3 or 4 is fine
Colors: black, white, silver, purple/brown.
Interior: black preferred, but flexible.

Don't care about dealer/owner as long as its clean and doesnt need work. I'm looking in texas now as well.

I like it seems like a good deal too me of course try to negotiate a lower price

and LOl at cars being cheaper in texas then in cali... seems people here in TX jack up the prices on pieces of crap because there are fewer sports cars here....Ive seen cheaper sports cars in Cali
