my vote is with Lex. Last thing I need is people coming up to me thinking my car is fast because of a hood.

I think the Veilside hood has too many vents in it and would require a "veilside" bodykit to match the hood.

Now that i've acquired a new project, I think i'll be in need for a good vented cf hood. I'll be one of those who will jump in probably if it's finalized!

Gotta check with another source first before I commit to anything.

We’ll have to go with the style of vents that has the most buyers. I thought we were ready to start the GB but there must be a definite design when it goes official. Personally, I’ll have ground effects to go with mine so either would be nice. I’ll leave the finial say to you guys.

VeilsideRSPsc yes the carbon fiber coated, like the fiberglass, does NOT require hood pins. The carbon fiber is also guaranteed against any flaw or defect in the carbon fiber skin itself. In fact, if they would make a slight mistake in the pattern when laying the skin on one of them, anyone who would want it would get it VERY cheap!

A pic of the veilside in black. Remember, ours would include the same lines one the sides of the vent which we have now.

Also I thanks for the encouraging comments from those who are ready to pay now! But the GB will be official before any money can be accepted.

Default Im in....

Im in for a Grade A Veilside style CF hood.
(similar to pic attached)
I also like the Aerogear Predator hood..
If this gets off the ground let me know.
I was using VIS racing for the manufacturer, there stuff
has done well with me in the past.
I have talked to another source last week and trying to
get something going there too.
The T&E hood is available from Japan if you want the OEM look.

Just to reiterate, I'm ready to purchase right now. Whatever style so long as it has a vent. And I actually think I'll get the CF covered fiberglass one now.
