I usually get about 475 mi on one tank. Same year and model. To be exact Boston to NJ on 1/2 tank at an average 80mph.

Also, your gauge could be bad. How many gallons are you putting in when you top off wit half of a tank?
My oil is good it was changed 2 weeks ago, plugs and wires were replaced last yr october with original plugs and wires when my head gaskets took a ish on me.my fuel filter was changed around the same time also, and about how much gallons is going in when i top it off,i have no idea i never really checked that.i just relized everyone is getting better gas mileage than i am..$70 lasts me 148 miles -_- smh! and thats driving like a granny

I actually had taking a road trip form Huntsville, AL to south Georgia. Went 366.3 miles on a full tank of gas, cruised at 70-80 mph. No cruise control. Loaded down. Filled up with 16.2 gallons. Thats the best it has ever gotten, also running with windows cracked and NO A/C.

I have not, will that make a big difference?

Very possibly. If there's ever been a batch of bad gas in your car or debris in the tank it can clog the filter.

Sounds about right. The best I've done in my '92 was right around 470 miles to a tank, mostly highway. My average with a mix of city and highway trips is usually around 400 miles to a tank.

I hit ~500 miles once with all highway driving. The tank was pretty close to empty. Averaged about 26.7mpg going 75mph average.

This was done on a 96 130K miles.

On the trip back from AZ when I bought my car, I made it from Meteor Crater, AZ to Las Vegas, NM on one tank. I filled up in Las Vegas, did the math, and had gotten 26.75 mpg with the cruise at 80 and the A/C on for a good deal of time. Since then I've not driven the car enough to even check mileage haha.

My 1991 Limited does about 550-600km or so on a tank, majority freeway driving to work and 2 hour crawl on the way home. I travel about 550kms/week in this car, I fill up once a week on 98RON.

My trip speed Monday to Friday is about 70km/h for the first half and about 110-120km/h for the rest, and on Sunday is about 80km/h for about half an hour.

Make sure your car is in good condition and it'll run like a champ.

SC tank is 20 gallons, my sc3 gets about that but 2jz dosent get better fuel economy. There's a mile long thread on 2gs forum on fuel economy, its not even broken down to i6vsv8 they are about the same. Our Gs400 gets about 400 miles to 17.5gallons is when the light has been on for about 20 miles or so i know the tank in GS is 18.5 gallons, thats mixed driving i'm sure i can get about 420-440 out of it if i drive very easy and 450+ on the highway.
