Default Another Harness Rubbed Through on a sc300

Ok, I've been searching around on here and I can't seem to find the exact answer I'm looking for. Maybe I missed it? Either way, any help would be great.

Well as the story goes... I had to be super cool, super low but most importantly super dumb for not relocating the harness in the drivers side fender on my 92 2jzgte sc300.

I managed to rewrap all of the wires before any of the broke and everything seems to be normal except for 2 things...................................

1.) The starter will not crank, no click..nothing. All the dash lights, f-con, gauges etc power on. Although the car DOES start when bump started.

Any clue on what might have happened there?

2.)
The low oil warning light is on. The oil level is full and the pressure is normal. This is the reason I pulled over in the first place and then found the harness worn. Even after wrapping all of the wires it is still on.

Any ideas or experience?

Again, I apologize for another one of these threads but I couldn't find a straight answer. I'm relocating the harness today. Thanks

Once you relocate and fix the wires problem will be solved.
Good luck

Wires are fixed, none of them ever broke. Car runs normal. Just no starter and the low oil light is on when the the oil is full

Check every fuse and relay on the car, both spots in the engine bay and foot well, come back and tell me what you find.

Ps, check them with a volt meter NOT just by looking at them

Yes check all your fuses- on the supra if you pop the alternator fuse (the little 7.5amp one) the oil light and the battery light will stay on. Wierd I know... so I'm well to bet it's possibly a fuse for the starter

Check the fuses! When my harness got chewed up, a lot of my fuses blew.

Im in St. Louis. Some people remove the plastic from the wheel wells and some leave it in, I removed mine due to my wheels, but the plastic does not protect your harness from your tire rubbing against it, if you lower your car, you MUST relocate your wiring harness! I was being a lazy *** and didnt relocate it before lowering the car and now I am paying for it big time.
