timing might be off???

Default timing might be off???

what is the timing suspose to be on a 95 sc300 2jzge car starts but dies bro said the timing might be off so i would like to know what its suspose to be thks alot Chad

Grab a timing light, Jump Te1 and E1 on your diagnostic port and set it to 10* BTDC and you should be good to go.

would it cause the car to not idel and die when started but some times idels its crazy ???

depending on how much the timing is off it can definitely cause erratic idle. It's quite simple to check and if the car is starting and running it's a good way to weed out anything that isnt the problem. I'd rather spend the time making sure things do work then throw expensive parts at a car and not have it fix the problem.
