Default Tenzo seat using oem seat brackets.

I got this idea from other CL member, I think is easier than building new custom brackets, I got the seat bracket from the junk yard, the most difficult part is to take the bracket apart and then aligning and welding the tenzo seat. my welding where not very good but they came out strong.
The seats is almost the same height as the original, but the seat is a little low but I like it more like this now for the pics. I will do the passenger seats when I can get or I can find another seat at junk yard.

That Tenzo seat will break within 2 years, possibly 1, and you'll be in full recline mode all the time. (...I knew someone who had them a few years ago in their Civic.) GL though- hopefully it wont happen to you.

Are you able to keep any of the motor functions though? Lumbar support, the power tilt, slide, etc. Memory? Heat?

That is my only issue with going with any seats other than our stockers, I don't want to lose any functionality.

It looks very cool though.

wow, okay a few questions?? 1 so to do this you absolutely need to measure with the seat in the car before you weld??

and 2 was it really hard to get the rails out of the stock sc seat?? i have both of mine out but never gotten far as looking under them. as there no stuck because there is no power.

and 3

the seats only come with the left and right sliders not the 2 center braces in the front and back correct??

Yet more people knocking the seats because "my buddy had them and they sucked".

I had them in my integra for 4 years. They survived hours and hours and hours of autocross abuse. They only reason they're gone is because the car got sold and the kid wrecked it.

What I did is I took the bottom rail from the sc seats, I used I metal disk and grinder and cut the upper part off the rail, I tried to take them apart and is a pita", next I install them in the car and top put the tenzo seat and start checking if is crooked and try to align it the best I can, when is in place, I so some welding point to hold it in place, but careful your carper will have holes and burn, I used wet towel and even saw I still got a lot of holes on the carpet, after that just finis welding the seat outside the car, clean and give some paint on the welds.
On the braces, the seats where on rx7, so U cut the tabs where it bold on and leave only the square to weld on the SC seat rails.
