alright its getting in the high 90's and i haven't fixed the window reg issue. so running the ac is how it's been but it takes more gas. so i was to the river today and got to thinking about. making a pop in from the inside roof scoop to draw in fresh cool air as im driving. anybody else thought of this something removable. right now i dont give a rats * about looks as long as it's functional .

im taking about fabbing up a sheet metal ram scoop to place in the sun roof opening . something thin that can be, rolled and beat with a planishing hammer and not hump up to much looking like a hump on a whale.

why dont you just fix the window reg? And running the A/C really doesnt decrease your MPG man, maybe by like 0.15 miles per gallon...
instead of spending money on stupid things, why not just FIX the problem?

toyota japan makes something like this for our cars, called a wind deflector or air diverter or something like that. let me see if i can find it.
and it just looks like a sunroof visor, but theres a **** on it to make air bounce into the cab. i always wanted one

gotta get time do it im taking radiation therapy gotta drive from nc to sc 5 days a wk. and running the ac around here kills my gas like crazy. im gonna attempt the diy route this wknd. i just tuned up the car and it's still avg about 25$ a day to drive from here to spartanburg. weekly its about 100 a wk so far my car runs and drives great i dunno why the ac makes it use so much more. i have sheet metal and all the fab tools i need wont cost me a dime unless i decide to have it molded. now if i can find one already made to pass me by for the next wk or so i'll go buy it depending on the price.

get me inside a ac controlled building and out of the heat and sun light then i'll see if it trying to fix it will fix the problem. doc says no heat no long exposures to direct sun light. if you haven''t taken chemo or radiation treatment you'll never understand. no way im spending 170+ for the regulators for both sides and no way im paying a shop that'll cost more.
i fixed the windows from falling back down but. their not tinted yet cars black with tan interior it's like a oven in ****. with the sun burning the living * outta me.

Go to a junkyard and try to source a window regulator. Just for the driver side in the meantime. And I'm sure you could install the thing yourself. Definitely better than cutting up your roof just to put in a universal roof scoop
