I got mine to fit but........its not a perfect fit... its on the securely and theres no buldge when you put the rear speaker covers back on. but if you take off the rear speaker cover you can see what i mean.

no i believe the deck was cut to install those. lets see the underside of the dash? honestly rears dont matter much anyway. in my experience a lot of pros dont even use rear speakers. i have 4" back there and i fade off of them until i can barely here them. they are just filler. front sound stage is way more important in a car. rears are great if your music is in dolby 5.1 lol.

The Speaker system I chose was the reason that I decided to have a ported enclosure, Instead of just changing out the lower speaker I actually replaced the tweeter and added a 3rd small speaker also and the 6.5 was being used mostly as a mid range sub since my rear hits like a train but doesnt have any mid range bass just low, the crossover was able to filter the mids and highs to my 2.5 and new tweeter. and I also have a built in eq per channel on the amp so I was able to tune it to my liking. the ports had to be designed out when we built the negative for the speaker enclosure out of fiberglass but luckily a friend of mine was able to do all of the calculations (former SPL Competitor) for me so I just had to break out the foam and fiberglass

For my rear deck 6.5's, I made 3/4" MDF adapters to raise the speaker to not have to entirely trim the hole. Still had to trim it where the terminals were. That was on some Boston Acoustics though, and not all speakers are the same.
