Starter Repair Kits or New Starter?
I've just noticed this morning that my Starter has a clicking sound now. It just started this morning. By all means, I can get a Starter as fast as the next businsess day with discount delivered to me in person. But I did some research online and noticed that the solenoid on the Starter goes out alot on the SC300. Which I didn't know before. Anyways, I noticed that ebay sells the Starter Repair Kits for it and was curious to find out if these Starter Repair Kits are any good. Have anyone actually used them before?
I am assuming the solenoid went bad on the Starter unit.

I've used them on other vehicles before. Sometimes it isn;t the solenoid itself, but is the contact plate that the solenoid causes to close the circuit that becomes pitted or corroded. It should come with the rebuild kit.

Nevermind the post. I've called a vendor of mines today at work and I can get a New one for $80 dollars delivered. Will be installing it this weekend.
