Default Turbo Exhaust (Downpipe) Question

Where do you buy or what does everyone use for cuctom 3" downpipes to connect to dual 3" pipes for rear? Do exhaust shops cutom make a Y connection or does someone sell this?

Thanks,
Robert

Pre-fabbed units are available (not SC specific), or you can have one made.

I was referring to a Y-pipe, as for the dp, the Supra unit fits, many companies make 'em.

I want to make a custom 3" downpipe and I need to know where to buy a Y fitting for the dual 3" pipes.

Exhaust flow at transitions is important. If your transition induces turbulence your turbo response and power will suffer. I recommend a PROPER "Y" pipe be used and one of the very few places that does it correctly is Burns Stainless. http://www.burnsstainless.com/

The Y is available in parallel or splayed. 3" in mild steel is $135 and in 304 stainless it is $162. Go here: http://www.burnsstainless.com/MergeC...into1base.html

For the best configuration add $60 and have Burns build you a real scavenging Y-pipe based on your engines requirements. Go here: http://www.burnsstainless.com/Crosso...rossovers.html

Can you buy a cheaper part? Yes. Will it make as much power or last as long? No.

I'm still trying to decide whether to go 3" or 2.5" duals to mufflers. I see that Supra owners only have single 3". I would hate to put 3" duals and lose power.
