Antenna(reception)problem Revisited.
Whats the frequency kenneth? My Radio reception Blows. I live in an area where I've never had a problem picking up any of the stations I regularly listen to. I have to to drive aprox. 5 miles toward the city that has most of the Radio towers in it; this puts me about 10 to 15 miles from the them. It seems to have the best reception right when I turn the radio on before the antenna extends. The antenna does go up and down when the frequency is changed. Is there some ajustment or conductive material that can be applied to help with this situation? I've cleaned all the black grease crap off of the antenna and it didn't make any difference. I saw the post not long ago about the operation of the antenna and mine seems OK. Thanks J. Green

This is a real shot in the dark, but have you had your back windshield replaced in the past? My understanding is that there is a horizontally polarized antenna in the rear glass that is vital to FM reception. If someone replaced the window but didn't hook the antenna back up, that could explain your problem.

Do Luck... Sure...I do not see why not.
I think if you pull that rear window...you should rebuild that back deck while you have it open. Weld in some heavy guage steel and mount up some huge woofers...

radio!
My radio blows too.. there is a ground problem... if you do a search there is a post with a diagram on how to fix it.. the nakamuchi systems are not grounded correctly..i am not sure on how badly it affects the FM but i can tell you that you could be next to an AM radio station and still have a hard time getting the signal. good luck..if i find that post ill PM it to ya.
later.
