looks good man! but not stock with no grill. take a look at my thread to see how i made a grill for mine. it takes a 12"grill.

So when you go amp shopping, keep this in mind. Decent amps run about $1-1w at 4ohms.
Sorry about that, I should of told you what I had. Right now I have a Alpine PDX-F4 and Alpine PDX-M12 I also have a Rockford Fosgate Power T400-4 and Rocford Fosgate T1000 "2009 Edition" along with Two sets of Alpine Type-R's 10's/12's and Type-R 6.50's for the front and rear. Oh yeah and for you "old school peeps" I have a Audiobahn A2200HC amp. So hows that for "Brands and Wattage"?

Not a lot of rattle but it does flex a little. The lid itself hasn't been dynamatted though, just the fender area, inside the tail light housing, behind the license plate and the whole doors. There's little to no rattle inside from the subs when cranked up and is crystal clear even at 3/4 volume.

Thanks bleedspeed I thought the thread was about putting an aftermarket sub in the stock location. Whether I retained the OEM grill or not was optional. Its all good though....I'm ok with the sub being exposed the way it is. Its still a somewhat dark color so it blends in well with the black felt wrap for me.

Ahhh...gotcha. In the future I may go with your advice and go with a larger round grill to put over the sub in order to retain the full stock look. Only time will tell.
