Hey guys in my old sc300 I put a 12' in my trunk with a custom made box for the SC's but since then the company that made that box in outta buisness. Anywho I was wondering who has swaped out there stock sub in the rear dash and replaced it with a aftermarket one? If so what size? I know there isnt alot of clearence to put a new sub in where the stock one already is. Also where about did you put your new amp? thanks guys!
I added one a couple of years ago, it just has to be free air. The magnet will hit the gas tank so you have to make a spacer. Other then that any 10" will do
I put an 8" Pioneer TS-SW841D powered by kenwood KAC-1502S
Placed the amp where the stock amp for radio/changer was.
I also have a small box built around the sub i can take a picture or 2 later.

i would like to see your box. i am planning on building an enclosure soon. you are the only guy i have seen that built an enclosure for the dash mount.
also you dont need a free air sub. if you seal the holes in the deck with a sound deadening material.
Sorry for the late reply, Just got my car back on Wednesday.
heres a few pictures of whats in the trunk.
Dont mind the Rear Wiper motor, as you wont have one, blocking part of the view..
