Jadu, that would be wishful thinking, i dont think those would last a second in a junk yard. I found one of those I am stripping everything from it and take it home.

Removing you CD changer to save weight is like saying that you lose a noticeable amount of weight after taking a dump.

If you really want to remove weight take out your back seats, switch up to lighter front seats, remove gas tank and put much smaller fuel cell....or ultimately go by a 240.

50lbs on removing spare tire....really?

Those back seats weigh nothing too, there's a complete thread on here about getting rid of some weight. I'm on my phone so I'm not gonna baby you and find it haha. As for a couple surpas, no way they're MKIVs

its impossible to make these cars light... just saying. 3800+ pounds you could maybe get to 3500 pounds but spend $4-5k in the process.

Removing a spare tire to save 50lbs is extremely silly in my opinion and not a wise decision when you're in a sticky situation and need that spare. All in all, removing little things like CD changer to save weight is just not rational. I can remove ALL seats (but the driver seat) in my dad's van and it would only feel a tad bit quicker, if any quicker at all.... and these seats are some REALLY heavy mothers.

If you want a light car, the SC is not it because you can find a much smaller and lighter vehicle without needing to demolish your beautiful plush Lexus interior...

I am 300 lbs so taking weight out of the car is kind of pointless
