Default Spray Paint on stock rims...

Me and my father recently thought that my stock rims looked kind of beat up so we looked online for a nice set of rims that was in our price range and we could not find anything since I am only 15 and won't turn 16 for another month to get a job. So instead we got some spray paint and clear coat and it turned out to look like this...

I was wondering if I could get some opinions if this was a good idea and looks good or if I completely ruined my rims... Thanks for reading

Should have sprayed them with some Aircraft Remover stripper instead.

No not completely ruined but its almost there... the stock 400 wheels looks best when cleaned and in its original form IMO...

I tried to clean them up as best as I could but nothing was working it still looked like crap... But this is just to make it look half way decent until I can afford some aftermarket rims.

Don't spray paint the emblems...use a product called plasti-dip. That way if they don't turn out the way you want them to it will just peel right off. You can find it normally at Lowes or Home Depot. I've used it on several vehicles emblems and it comes out great every time. Just my .02

Well I'm sure they came out fine...the only reason I use plastidip when it comes to small things like emblems is because the process is super easy to reverse. The stuff just peels right off when you want it to but other than that is stays on pretty good.

I never used glue...3M double sided tape cut to fit with an exacto knife. I'd assume gorrila glue would eat the s#$t out of your paint!

3M double sided tape is the way to go.

I wouldn't recommend anyone using glue.
