Default 2jzgte JDM cams into 1jzgte....Anyone have more info on this?
has anyone have first hand experience with the 2jz jdm cams and what cam seals to use?

you have to machine the cams, they will not drop directly into the 1j. ive done about 30 sets of them now, you have to machine the oil seal area down and you have to widen the thrust journal on the exhaust cam. once you do that, it will use the stock 1j cam seal

are usdm cams alot better? should i wait for usdm cams or just go with the jdm spec? are gains about the same?
