Default any suggestions on bottom end

i recently spun a bearing in my 2jzgte, i guess (motor knocking) anyways i have a GE bottom end that came out of my sc300 or i have a local guy selling a GTE bottom end for 250. i know my GE bottom end was good before i swapped

what would be the best for me i have a single t70 turbo with 650cc injector i was pushing about 450whp?

also im going to put new rods, bearing, and everthing else besides the crank. what is the most popular parts people are using to rebuild bottom ends?

thanks for any help

just do the brian crower 3.4. If not build what you have, but the price difference if done with name brand parts is not that big of a difference.

good luck with the build

we use probe industries bottom end parts. get a set of aluminum rods and forged pistons for yourself. we made 1800 with those rods a few years ago. car's still going, and it's a daily.

Depends on your power goals.
A factory GTE rebuild will hold in excess of 700 easily with reliability.
No need to go super dope stuff on the bottom end.

i dont see myself going over 700. How would a stock GE bottom end hold up? cuz i was thinking about just putting my stock GE bottom end in for now... and save up some money to get some nice GOODIES for my GTE bottom end then swap it back with the GTE after its done? Would the GE hold up with 450whp?
edit:
well i was reading that the issue with the GE bottom end isnt the internals its the compression ratio being higher and it might not handle boost well...would this be a issue if i deside to run the stock GE for a lil while?

Ok well these kids are all on the hype. Hey I have had 4 MKIV Supra's making over 650+. I can tell you I have made 875WHP on stock motor. I used all arp hardware with all toyota OEM gaskets and made that. All my cars have been that way and I have never had one problem. Just make sure you have a god machine shop and quality bolts & gaskets like I said before. Toyota OEM parts are the best you are gonna get to let you know when it comes to gaskets. Toyota pays those engineers millions of dollars and years to develop those parts. Most of the aftermarket companies just throw there stuff together off someone else R&D. So do that and have fun. BC stroker kit= Retard with to much money haha.

Current setup
GE block .010 bore decked .010
Toyota OEM GTE pistons/rods
Clevite main/rod bearings
Titian billet main caps
APR head studs/main bolts/exhaust studs/rod bolts
Toyota OEM gaskets full kit

that setup is a beast right there make 800+ all day long......

Id figured id ask here instead of making a new thread. Will any wiring have to be modified if going back to the ge block? My motor is ticking at 2-3k rpm with no load. Ive pin pointed it to cylinder 3 because when i pull the coil plug it stops knocking. When under load i dont hear anything. I just thought id prepare for the worst.
