There are not many American cars that I want to drive or own.... but a Z06 is definitely on that short list.

SC gets raped I ran a Z06 a few weeks back and got raped from a 60 roll and from a 40. Those cars are fast as ****. But the C5 and the others are well nothing I get them all the time.

Stock 1J are not much to talk about, trust me! Yes it's fun to drive, but I still think my 1uz will pull on it. Maybe if I boost to the stock twins limits of 14/15psi, but any higher than that they go caboom! I'm already at 11psi, so I doubt I'll gain a huge amount of HP/TQ with 3 more psi.

I would have to disagree, its not way a 1JZ car will get pulled buy a 1UZ, unless the JZ just isnt running right, Ive also boosted my twins on 18psi and they still are in great condition, no smoke, & still boosting jus fine, took my car to the track & with Drag radials & 18psi i ran a 12.90 @ 109mph with only a 2.0 60ft

I have beat many LT1 camaros on boost, trans ams, althought the trans am pulls just about the same..

I have beat many other turbo cars but since we are on the c6 talk, im talkin v8's

yes the C6 vette is a beast, & the C6 Z06 is a monster, & it will take more then a stock BPU 1J car to beat but other then those ur already faster then half the cars on the road...just my 2 cents

That's for sure, but I actually like 4/5 gears on the 2J, is the first 3 gears that suck! How's your swap coming along?

How long you been running 18psi? I've read several post where they were blowing up stock twins when they went past the 14/15psi mark. That's cool though, I can see a 1J being real fun on 18psi! However, stock the 1J is not boosting 18psi and it has less power compared to a 1uz. Although, that can easely be changed with just a few mods. Either way, I was a bit dissapointed with my set up. Don't get me wrong, it's fun, but I thought it would be quicker than my GS. Maybe I just need to turn up the boost

I dont run 18psi daily...thats what i have the HKS EVC 5 for..LoL i daily drive my SC when around town jus cruising, i leave the boost controller off, so its at 11psi but as i stay in it WOT, it spikes...

But my boost controller was set at LO Boost = 15psi & HI Boost 18psi....Only mods were 3" custom dp,Blitz Nur Spec exhaust *turbo back*,4" Fmic, & 3" intake, thats all

Listen if ur 1J sc is completely stock, stock exhaust,stock smic...etc yes it is pretty lame...but a fmic,dp & exhaust wakes them up no doubt about it...any body who own'd a 1J car will tell u that
