"luxor's" looks good but u can try the Acura Mdx antenna too

 

what kind did you purchase and how did you install it?

 

Mine is from DS Auto. I installed mine with heavy duty double sided tape which I feel will never come off. There are some other brands that look more OEM that resemble Lexus style. At the time I bought this antenna years ago, I could only find BMW style shark fin antenna.

So from what your saying basically keep the sc bone stock? Coilovers werent " meant" to be on the sc, so is that a dumb mod? Rims? Body kits?

The shark fin mod is the exact same concept as any other mod you put on your Car. Something to improve the lOok or function of your car. I think it would look sick.

 

if you search antenna you`ll find a thread of someone doing it on their CT...it looks pretty good i also want to do that since my antenna does not work...im thinking on putting it in the middle of the trunk like a bmw...but i dnt rly wanna "swagger jack" LOL

on my Acura CL type S, OEM has the antenna that is just a wire with a small antenna on the end that sits on top of the headliner right at the edge of the rear window. very discreet, no need for any types of fins or s2k mod or anything. I actually ordered a replacement OEM CL one to put in my SC since I disconnected the antenna's power source, so it doesnt go up and look stupid.

 

where did you run the signal wire from the shark fin?

this is another option its the antenna that comes on the corolla... roof mounted kinda flat rounded not so "SHARK LIKE" lol... i have a corolla and it works perfect

 

Not a big fan of the Shark antenna, atleast least not on the SC...I too like the corolla's antenna-looks good, and IMO doesn't take away from the car.
