SUPPOSEDLY the 94-95 avalons have the same ignitor as 1j/2j.... i have a 96 avalon out in my garage and the ignitor is NOT the same.

well it's OFFICAL the early model es300 does have the same body plug as the 1jz ecu..

i made an extention harness, using the engine and body harness plugs from a 95 ES300. also i chopped up an ECU to get the female connector plug. so i wouldn't have to cut my 1jz engine harness. i could of done this with the other plugs. but didnt. should have tho. oh well. its done.

I will have to source these from my next trip to the yard so the 94-95 igniter is confirmed to work?

so went to the junkyard. and looked at igniters. the es300(not sure of the year). didn't look like it fit. and snagged a unit from a avalon. dosen't look like that fits either but we will see.
