Anyone know of any more interchangeble plugs/connectors???

I know that on my ecu, the body plugs are the same on a toyota avalon. What i want to know is what about other things?? like the engine ignitor???

and what generation/years are compatable??

-1st gen 94-99
-2nd gen 99-2004
-3rd gen 2005

iam going to the junkyard this week and would like to know what to look for!!!

Oh I see now, probably nothing but those connectors will be the same. Ive never heard of anyone pulling anything for an sc from an avalon, that's why I was confused lol

Nothing is compatible. Maybe you'll have better luck in a Cressida since it's RWD. The Avalon is FWD. You need more than just an engine, you need an engine, transmission, driveshaft, differential, rear suspension. etc.

the body plug for the ecu is compatable.. iam not looking to do a swap. i want to know would an igniter from a avalon any year, would work for a 1jz??

No it will not, you need an ignitor from a car with a 1jzgte or 2jzgte. The ignitor is specific to the engine.

You can get a new one from driftmotion for around $150, or wait til one pops up in the classifieds

Ahhh ok. No as mentioned above. The Avalon's igniter is specific for 1MZ-FE and related Camry, Solara, Sienna, ES300.

1JZGTE and 2JZGTE Ignitors are the same as certain year Avalons not sure which exact ones but ill double check.

95 1mzfe ecu plugs are the same as a 1jz soarer ecu plug.

same with some LS400 plugs. but i dont know what years u can use from those.

The ignitor from 1994-1999 (MCX10) are the same. Same part numbers and 100% interchangeable with any year MKIV TT.

whats a mcx10?? and is the 2jzgte and the 1jzgte have the same igniter??
