like stated above, check the fuses in the relay box in the engine bay, if all checks out then go to the fuses under the driver kicker panal becuase thats where the wires from the relay box go to.
the am1 fuse in the relay box is the 1st fuse that all the power from battery goes through to power everything inside the car such as starter, windows, redio and all that. so start at that fuse and work ur way down.

One more question, i was turning my key on the "on" or "acc" position and noticed that my check engine light doesnt light up? is that because theres no power to the ecu so it wont light up or should it be lighting up no matter what?

No check engine ecu not on. Pull the ecu connectors and try to tighten up the female connectors.
