Default Magnaflow mufflers.

Is there anybody in this forum who can get their hands on magnaflow 14829? I'd like a pair but do not know anybody who can buy and ship them. I've been told the muffler cost around 120 bucks each.

Lightbulb Try these sites

http://www.magnaflow.com
has a dealer locator. Type in your zipcode. Chicago alone has 100-200 regular muffler shops that carry it. KILLERLEXUS is right about any shop.

Consider the Magnaflow Race series mufflers with 3-inch inlets as opposed to the 2.25-inch Street series. That's what I would have done if I could do it all over again.

Blah!

I've been serching for an hour to find this exhaust piping diameter chart. The bottom line was that for 2.5L engines a custom exhaust job should start with 2.5" piping. After 3.0 Liter+ 3" piping should be used.

So us 4.0 guys should at least be using 3" piping sections according to this site I can't find. I swear it came from magnaflow.com, but I don't see it on the page.

There's a guy at my school with a 2001 accord V6 with NOS and 3" piping with dual magnaflows. Funny..

Default pipe size and mufflers

for the 300 2.25" pipe is more then enough, and for the 400 2.5" is more then enough too. Any larger is a waste, you lose torque and ground clearance on top of it all.
As for the Magnaflows, my shop sells them, if you want to email me from

and if it wasnt for alot of them, I wouldnt be driving
my Soarer either Riced or not, they spend alot of $
and in turn I do try to offer them the most for their
$ in turn. I can honestly say Ive seen some pretty scarey Lexus's out there (on the net) I wasnt too exicted about.

My cars a real Soarer from Japan (notice the steering wheel in the pic and there are more on my webiste) I liked the air-ride. It was all I expected and more, but the TEINS are more my liking for everyday driving. I was thinking about selling my Canover Air Ride kit this fall (my plans are to get a 96 Skyline by Nov)
