Default Throw out bearing install help

Well im trying to install my new throw out bearing and it just won't hold / clip in.

Thats the kind of ring that i got

I was looking at the clutch fork and it has the groove for the ring that bends, but mine just goes straight forward.

Right here is how the clutch fork looks like with the horizontal "seat".

How the hell do i get it to sit with my type ring?

Well i finally got it to sit, but when i push the clutch about an inch and half the clips just pop off. How far does the clutch fork usually travel?

Is this fine how it sits?

Put some grease, but not to much so It will travel smooth. I see if I can find pics when I did mine.
