Default Two problems. Need some advice.

1) I have some vibration at around 1,100 rpm while the car is in idle. It's through the whole car not just the steering wheel or any specific part. Any ideas what it could be?

2) I cannot stop the rotors from glazing over and squealing. I've had them turned like 3 times and it's starting to get old. It's almost embarassing. Pads are fine and rotors are new oem. With the way the stop and go traffic is here in Vegas should I consider upgrading the calipers and rotors?

don't use spray on wheel cleaner. it is causing the film. Get a bucket of car soap and a small rag. Use the rag to hand wash your wheels so that soap dosn't get on the rotors or pads. After doing this the squealing should go away soon. If you want it to go away real fast get on the freeway at 2 in the morning and take it up to 60 then slam on the brakes. That'll clean them right off.

Well, if you dont stop properly...like jam on the brakes a lot...then you will always have the squaling problem regardless of the car you are in. I unfortunately dont brake properly either.
Vibration could be motor mounts...

Neal..I've always used just soap and water. I can be tough on my brakes but traffic is tough on me.

1. Broken or loose motor mount(s) are my thought.

2. Ditto on the wheel cleaner. FYI, I was told that cleaner will strip the paint off any plastic parts on the wheel...such as the center cap. When I first acquired my '92 SC3, the center caps were a flaking, peeling mess. I managed to find some new ones (I got lucky on eBay).

I just use the regular car wash soap and a soft brush on my wheels.
