papa dont listen to ppl its ur car... and i think it looks great... most ppl would have puled a cable from there radio and left the thing lying around the car at least u went and made it custom. i was going to do the same thing seeing as i hate my ipad because it was a waste of money. difference is i was going to make it permanent. props to u for thinking of something unique and different from everyone else's rigs.

the possibilities are endless now... navigation, iheart radio, pandora radio, movies, youtube, ****(LOL)...

A for effort, but if was mine it would need to be more flush so how. I have an Ipad and one thought was to make an arm to hold it? Still mulling it over. Cool mod though

Now that I think about it, you could have moved the climate control to where the EQ is and had the ipad a bit more flush... And the EQ could be at the bas of the dock.

ill say it again. what about the drivers viser? pull the viser out remove the fabric and build a frame in it that somehow locks the ipad in. you probably have to make the viser a little bigger but could look so much cleaner and fold up out of the way. and for the insanely ****: do one in the passengers too so they can navigate for you while you drive.

Yeah I'm still working on it I'm not 100% satisfied but it will do the trick for now. I also did one for my truck that came out a whole lot better but it took me about 2 weeks to get just rite. I'll post some pix of it when I get a chance.

Define expensive? I personally had 2.5tsoarer (the video you are watching on the carpc) help me with my carpc. Including a new sub, speakers, and amps my whole carputer cost me $700. To me that's not expensive at all compared to other systems and the possibilities of what you can do with the carputer.

heres a few pix of the setup i did on my truck just to give you guys an idea of how it would look horizontally. like i said i put about two weeks of work into this and the one for my car took about two days so yeah quality is alot better. it could deffinatly fit horizontally on my sc but i wanted to go with a more simple setup.
