Default Right size to plug into 92 sc4 fog lights

I got a 3000k hid kit to put into the cornering lights. I need to know what size i need to basically fit right into the stock cornering light. I have h3 ones right now but i think tbe. Ballasts are bad so im going to return them. So i need to see what size to tell him to re ship to me

i did notice that the "fog/driving" light option wasn't on the list when I checked 92-93

the 92-94 cornering lamp is NOT an H3 housing..and if you put HID's in that lamp without modifying it, your wasting time and money cause all your going to do is make the curbs brighter....

do a retrofit, or 95+conversion if you want HID's..

Edit to add info to clear further incorrect info and confusion, the bulp in the cornering lamp on 92-94 SC300/400 is an 1156 bulb, 27w...

So you could technically put a yellow 1156 and wire it to turn on with the headlamps but it's useless in terms of being a foglight.

What kind of projectors or lenses can be used to retrofit in the stock housings?

Those lights are cornering lights, they are wired to your turn signals, if you wish to turn them on as foglights wire them up to an independent switch, or, since they are 15w, and the parking light inside the headlight is also 15w, you can wire them to that harness, that way they will turn on once you turn on your parking lights.

The bulb size is 1156, because it is only a 15w harness. If you want a very easy way to have HID's without having to cut up any sockets, you can buy a 15w 1156 HID reverse light kit. Reverse light bulbs are also 15w and 1156

i will see if this guy has 1156 socket size...hopefully he does, im going to the junk yards tommorow to see if i can scrounge up some newer fogs, or even angle the hid bulbs in the cornering light housing i have right now to make it work...i dunno...just kinda experimenting right now, 35 buks on ebay is not a big deal, unfortunately one of the ballasts doesnt even work! but thats what i get for trying to go that route haha

I had a thread, but IIRC it was locked. But I do have some pics:

The camera killed alot of the light quality, but they were bright enough with 3000k HID's that I didnt need my lights on. During the day when they were off, the lamps appeared factory and untouched. I dont have a pic of the bracket I made to actually mount the projectors, but it gives an idea. It was really simple, took about 2 hours to complete and they actually served a purpose vs. the faux fog setup.

I think our cars are twins:

So you just opened up the front of the lense, massaged open a hole for the foglight, and mounted it from the back? Do you remember the size of the overall projector you went with?
