Arrow NY - Engine / Trans & Differential Removal

Has anyone in NYC done this on their own or know of a shop that can do it & can tell me labor estimates?
Also can anyone tell me what it would be worth to sell all these approximately ?

This will be out of my 97 sc300 with 155k on everything and was well maintained. The car is still drivable so anyone is welcome to come check the trans/engine. It was my daily driver for highway commute from Queens to Long Island & ran perfectly. Any help would be appreciated Thanks !

Just about any mechanic should be able to remove everything, just don't count on them to put it back in correctly.

Trust me its easy to pull the driveshaft, never did the engine before though.

Remove midpipe - mufflers then remove the chassis brace and then loosen 2 bolts that hold the drive shaft up. Then remove 3 bolts that connect the driveshaft to the diff. Wiggle out you good.

the price you will pay a shop or some one to do that may yield low profits when selling them. pay some one 500 to remove the parts and when you sell them you only making like 1-200 more than what you spent to remove them.

Yes but how much would it cost to remove everything ? I don't need it put back in as I want to sell the engine/trans.

I figured, but approximately what would it cost? I was thinking of putting up an ad that if someone needs the engine & trans they can pull it out themselves and I'll jus take a small amount for it.

why not sell the entire car whole if it still drives. save yourself some headaches?
if a shop pulls the motor it's going to cost you some money and that's considering you already have a buyer for the drive train.
where is the damage that you have to part out the entire car?
also thinking about it...if a shop pulls the drive train out what are you doing w/ the rest of the car and how are you getting it out of the shop?

if you want i know someone that will pull everything out for you in uniondale.

Believe me I don't need the headache but since I have about 15k in receipts of maintenance + original cost of the car, figured I'd get more trying to part it out.
The damage is on the rear quarter and front pass side as well. Please PM me details on your guy that will pull the engine & trans out, I have someone who can strip the car completely and I'll bring the parts to my house & junk the shell after.
