steering rack bushings do it!
#16
i wanted solid bushings and the ones from daizens are just like oem with the rubber and i was interested in seeing how well the aluminum ones hold up over time as we all the rubber will break down at some point.....but aside from that the aluminum ones give very nice response in the steering

umm, if you're implying daizens are rubber, they're not. polyurethane is no where close to rubber. they're much stiffer, much more durable than the stock rubber. it'd be a good choice if you wanted more response than the rubber, but didn't want the direct feeling of the aluminum/delrin/solid/whatever.

it was on a 400 but the bushings are for both 400/300 i didnt have to drop the rack i literally removed 3 bolts from the rack and used a pry bar to lift it up to slide the new ones in and my rack had so much grease on it from when i had the oil leak and still going power steering leak the aluminum just slide right in didnt have to fight at all without grease i would imagine a little fight as they are a very snug fit.

Great, I was going to order the poly bushings but i think I'm going to get the aluminum ones instead. I'm not sure if this will help my problem though. When I turn hard right and back to straight, my steering wheel is cockeyed and when I turn hard left and back to straight, it's straight. Is it the steering rack bushing or something else?

These are what I used my SC4:
For all who don't know you can get them from MVP Motorsports I have had nothing but good experiences with them and did not have to wait forever for them to be delivered! Oh and one other thing there's someone you can actually talk to I think they call that "customer service"...... Here's a link check it out:http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/Templa...209&SearchYN=N
