buy your turbo than build manifold(s)..... from there its like putting a turbo on any other n/a motor... simple as that. also I thought the rods on the 92-94 were strong enough to withstand around 400whp with a GOOD TUNE along with the piston rings? (from what i've read on lextreme and toyotanation forums)
there's not already made manifolds at a normal price blah blah blah... if you got money out the a$$, here are some ready made manifolds for a twin setup

Funny you mention about a T88! I just had to look at this SC400 with a T88 in it again to hear it and read up on it (I've have a hard on for the 1UZ for a reason recently.) Classic SC + Turbo V8 + chestNUT(In your mouth) pearl = A car that JESUS left behind! DO IT!

Here we go again...Another swap the LSx motor into the SC suggestion in a turbo 1UZ thread...No dis intended to you Zach... 
If it is such a great swap, you would think more would jump on it...Not been the case.
As I stated earlier, if you want a LSx engine, then it is best to buy a Vette or even a Caddy and call it a day.

If i had could get away with having a vette i would. Have kids. At least i can take her somewhere in the sc. And the only caddy id buy is the ctsv and those are pretty expensive.

^^ haha what the hell? damn that would be a lawsuit for me, id take them to court with the quickness...im sure he paid good money to have that done too...back to the subject though, so those who are saying go ls1...do they make swap kits? im going to search for sure, but just curious if they have them for the sc like they do the 240....

You'd have to think that a simple Vortech & custom bracket would be far easier to accomplish if you didn't want to spend twice the car's value on a turbo setup. Nobody would argue the potential of a turbo but it's just sooo much work when you'd need a built engine to make the most of it.
