durrby i dont think the guys were hating at all. they just didnt see the point i think. but i do. i have been doing systems for 15 years and acrylic is used in some really sick setups. so i fully get it and i am trying to encourage you to take the idea to the next level because i think it was a sick idea just needs refinement. you obviously have put some real work into the stereo judging by the terminal setup so how about some pics of the whole system. lets see what you have done. you got my attention.

Looks good. Glad you went for it. Too bad they made the the two tabs the same width as the stock battery and not the Kinetik.

Seriously man I like the idea; but seriously also it's not for Lexus. It belongs to the neon colored Accords, Camry's or Civics at car shows with really over the top design and hella tacky style and paint job. Hookers wearing transparent stilletos is my nice way of saying they look cheap for a Lexus.

OP I've seen your sound system, and it looks really neat and clean. This just doesn't go with it.
