Default Car wash ripped my antenna off, options?

Can I put a fixed antenna on pretty easily and just rip out the motor, or disable it?

You can buy the antenna itself from ebay for like $13. (Not including the motor man, just that thing that goes up and down.)

dont think so. if you mean screwing to the stock fender location? no. the antenna wire plugs into the base of the motor. you can use an aftermarket but getting it in the fender would require custom work. as said before why not just replace the mast? if you want aftermarket gonna cost a lot more. you have to pay for the antenna then you will need an antenna wire extension to get to where you want to mount it. pluse your gonna need to shave the stock mounting hole to get a clean look. the time to go aftermarket is when you paint the car.

As long as the motor still works hit up eBay and get the mast replacement for like $13 shipped. Even comes with instructions

MDX antenna works nicely. In addition to aesthetic appeal, it allows one to discard motor assembly completely.

Here are some pics on chanh55's SC:

Simply search MDX antenna and you'll find even more "options."

^^^This. And can be done in as little as 30 mins.

But that MDX antenna looks pretty good also.

An MDX or S2000 antenna would look great. You could also shave the antenna as well.

I bought a short one from autozone/discount auto etc. and shaved the base down a little to fit into the stock antenna mount and used some epoxy from the under-side to seal it from the rain... worked just fine for the past 2 years now and cost maybe $20
