Smile No Sound Coming Out Of All 4 Coaxial Speakers?

I'm new to the Lexus world. I just bought a 94 SC400 with a stereo system that needs some TLC. The two front weeters and rear sub both work and that's all. Nothing at all coming out of the 2 door speakers and 2 rear deck lid 4" speakers. Any advice on how to check to confirm if it's the factory head unit or the amp? If it's the factory head unit, upon replacing it with an aftermarket unit and using the wire adapter kits that people like Crutchfield offer. Is there anything else I need to know to make it work correctly? If I replace the entire system with aftermarket speakers/amp/etc. will I be able to use the factory wires that are already there? Thanks In Advance.

Kenny

prob amp, it sucks pretty bad especially for being 17 years old. get a new deck, run new speaker wire and call it a day. Or take the chance of locating the correct replacement amp and keep your 1994 sound quality.

you can do 6.5 all around with mod in the front and slight mod in the rear or with no mod in the rear at all you can do 5.25

Crutchfield is for those who want to replace incredibly **** poor factory speakers with likewise **** poor aftermarket speakers.

Do some searching you'll find the truth in what I say. I'm running 3 ways in my front doors, granted there is a lot of custom work. But prior to that I was running 6.5's with ease by just cutting out a simple baffle out of MDF. It takes 20 minutes tops to make them.
