WTF steering wheel Tilt issue? Goes up but sometiems down?
Alright well, the damn tilt is annoying as hell, it always will go up, but sometimes go down?
I looked up on a thread about the spacer used (or shim) to correct this, well thats not the issue. I took the motor off and when I go up it turns then stops, then I go down the shaft spins barley or *sometimes* Can the motor be bad? Maybe the switches contacts are bad? Im not sure, I am also getting pissed because I like to have the wheel on the lowest setting available -.-
Has anyone else experienced this?

I found the problem to be the plastic sprocket (blue wheel with teeth) inside the mechanism doesn't sit properly. I used a big washer and a rubber O-ring to get the sprocket to stay put. I wish I would have taken pictures but it took me about 10 minutes from start to finish to fix the issue. After opening up the mechanism. I undid the screw, took out the sprocket, put the rubber o-ring in first (it sits around the metal lip in the deepest part of the area) then the big washer, and then the sprocket.. refasten the bolt..wallla... Unless it truly is your motor dying slowly. Good luck.
