sub size in the trunk?
#16
i did 1 10" in the stock hole. i have a build thread on here for it. with the sc its a matter of do you want the trunk or not? and how much bass you want. my 1 10" hits good enough since it fires into the cab. and i have an open trunk. but if you are going with a box 2 choices. either a pair of 12's in a huge box or a pair of 12's in custom fiberglass side wall enclosures. if your gonna kill the trunk anyway i see no reason to use 10" subs. its gonna consume the space either way so may as well utilize it for some mean lows. have fun!

wow thats a really tight fit. i thought about cutting out the rear deck while leaving the 2 support beams intact and slipping in a new mdf deck with a pair of 10"s in it. the subs would go where the 2 stock 4" speakers where allowing for a small enclosure on either side of the gas tank. it could work i think. might have to do a little glass work to the deck lid to mold the ends so that they meet up to the rear a window trims.

well yeah, i mean first of all, its not that serious lol. 2 10s should be fine with no rattling, just make sure you get a really nice , big box. and face it like mine. Mine rattled a bit before i went with the 97+ rear bump, idk why.
